Shearwater's Teric, LIMITED EDITION Bronze "Journey Edition

Shearwater is offering its newest Teric in a Bronze "Journey Edition". In limited quantities for 2022!

The Shearwater Research Teric is a full-featured technical dive computer watch.

The Teric is designed for open and closed circuit Air, Nitrox and Trimix diving, as well as a tilt compensated three-axis digital compass. It has recreational, gauge, free dive, open circuit and closed circuit technology modes. The Teric has four buttons and incorporates adaptable logic menus to make operating and diving the Teric very intuitive. The Teric is also very configurable; for example, you can set a button to access different tools such as compass, stopwatch, countdown timer, etc. It includes vibration and acoustic alarms that can be turned off (neither, both).

The Teric features a screen using polychrome AMOLED technology with a Diameter x Height of 55mm x 18mm and a mass of 120.4g. The brightness levels are user adjustable and accessible at the touch of a button. During a decompression dive, the Teric provides complete information on all necessary stops. Multi-gas presets are supported with any combination of oxygen, nitrogen and helium. The Teric will NOT lock out after a missed stop or ascent rate violation.

After the dive, the Teric communicates via Bluetooth to connect to the Shearwater Cloud dive log manager, which is compatible with MS Windows, OS X, iOS and Android devices. It allows for dive downloads and firmware updates.

The Teric supports transmitter-based gas pressure integration, sometimes called Air Integration (AI). The Teric is capable of connecting wirelessly to one or two optional transmitters, allowing the diver to monitor the pressure of up to two tanks. It is also capable of calculating remaining air time. Air integration is optional for all modes, from open to closed circuit. The display is fully customizable.

The Teric's base price does not include the pressure transmitter, which is optional.

The Teric was designed with a wireless rechargeable battery and includes a wireless induction charger holder. Typical dive time on a single charge is at least 30 hours and up to 50 hours, depending on the features activated. The built-in battery has an expected life of five (5) years and can be replaced at any Shearwater authorized service center.
