• Characteristics of the chillproof fabric :

 Chillproof is a specific aquatic fabric composed of 3 layers with thermal properties equivalent to 2.5 to 3mm thick wetsuits.

This fabric has been developed for water sport athletes with 3 distinct layers:

• The first layer is a comfortable, fleece-like thermal layer that absorbs sweat or water from the body to help keep you dry.
• The second "technical" middle layer is 100% windproof and regulates body temperature.
• The third outer layer is a blend of nylon and lycra that is abrasion resistant and "4 way stretch".

It is also UVA/UVB resistant and has a water repellent finish (DWR) to provide the fabric with a high level of water repellency.

Sharkskin Chillproof is buoyancy neutral, antimicrobial, odour resistant, itch resistant and machine washable.
