The POSEIDON XStream diving regulator is the culmination of over 50 years of research and feedback from the world of professional diving.

First and foremost, it is AIR, NITROX 50% and TRIMIX compatible. It is approved for use at depths of up to 200m, surpassing the EN250 standard.

Its XStream first stage has two patents. Firstly, the seat is made from a balanced diaphragm ball valve, which produces a constant pressure of up to 16bar in the cylinder! It is also equipped with thermal insulation on the upper part (TDA - Thermodynamic Anti-Freeze) - see photo - which insulates the lower part of the regulator in the event of continuous flow. This valve passed the tests at 0° with continuous flow for 10 minutes without malfunctioning. It's a regulator that's particularly well suited to cold water.

The Xstream second stage has many qualities. It's very light, weighing just 152g. The air escapes through the side of the regulator, giving the diver a bubble-free view. It also has a cover that hides the overpressure valve, which prevents continuous flow in the current. Finally, it is 100% reversible, making it easy to fit left/right for Sidemount diving, for example, or to give air.

Since 2020, the second stage of the XStream has been available in a range of colours, with a black, grey or white body and a multitude of colours for the cover, ideal for specifying a gas regulator for technical divers.
