Innovative design: The housing features a clear Lexan rear door, which makes it easy to check that the camera body and control levers are correctly positioned inside. Its specially formulated grey colour reflects the sun's rays, providing optimum cooling for your camera, especially when recording in 4K. Compared to black or transparent housings, the grey colour offers superior contrast, improving the view of the LCD screen for precise composition of your shots.

Compatibility and versatility: the housing's levers and buttons allow you to use almost all the camera's original controls, giving you a familiar user experience. You can add an optional electronic converter for the S5 II (sold separately) that retrieves and transmits TTL information for an external flash, automatically adjusting flash output according to ambient light. The housing is also equipped with a waterproof flash socket for use with external flash units from the Ikelite DS51, 125, 160, 161, 162, 230 range, giving you impressive results.

Reliability and safety: The housing is fitted with a 1/2" vacuum valve to test the tightness of the assembly before each dive (manual vacuum pump sold separately). This feature guarantees safe use and allows you to make the most of your underwater explorations or your adventures in water sports such as surfing. The standard M16 accessory socket offers expansion options to meet your specific needs.

What's in the box: The housing comes with everything you need for convenient and comfortable use. It includes:

• 1 set of spare knob stop caps
• 1 can of grease
• 1 plate with left-hand handle (extension with right-hand handle Ref. IKE 4077.02 sold as an option)
• 1 detailed instruction leaflet for easy commissioning

Warning: Please note that the housing is delivered without a porthole, which is essential to ensure that the system is watertight. The window must be ordered separately depending on the type of lens used. Please contact us for personalised advice on choosing the right porthole for your lens.

Accessible controls: The housing provides convenient access to all important camera controls, except :

Compatible portholes and domes: This housing is compatible with most lenses thanks to its DL-type "DRY LOCK" porthole system, ensuring a perfect fit with your equipment.

Recommended external flashes : The use of an external flash is recommended to improve colour rendition and subject exposure. Please note that the use of a flash with a fibre-optic triggering system is not possible with this housing. The Ikelite DS51, DS160, DS161, DS162, DS230 flash units can benefit from the TTL function by using the Panasonic DL3 TTL electronic converter and its PT1 hotshoe (ref. IKE46032), sold separately. The recommended flash units are :
