Note that only the Analox cell provides reliable O2 percentage information with the ATA PRO analyzer. There are many cells on the market that are adaptable at the connector level but whose operating voltages are not compatible with the analyzer.

The lifetime of the cell depends on its exposure to oxygen molecules.

The electrochemical fluid contained in the cell is consumed in contact with oxygen. The greater the percentage of oxygen to be controlled, the greater the frequency of use, the shorter the lifetime of the cell.

A cell exposed to water in liquid form can be instantaneously destroyed.
