Scuba tank 12L 300bar galvanized steel "light" FABER

Innovation for scuba tanks. This diving cylinder is made of a steel that allows a surface finish by hot-dip galvanization.

The 12L 300bar diving tank is immersed in a zinc bath at an elevated temperature of 500°C. A chemical reaction takes place between this specially developed steel and the zinc film, which fuses with the metal and provides protection against rust. No more paint is needed!

This hot-dip galvanizing process has been widely used in street furniture or in industry in corrosive environments for a very long time and has shown its anti-corrosion results.

Visually, the coating can be irregular and present some colour variations. The grey colour tarnishes a little with time.
