In fact, there are two ways to use this landing chute with inflator and purge:

• Or by conventional air insertion from below (the parachute in this case will be just like the others!)
• Or by inflating via the inflator. A double skin is inflated to keep the parachute upright (see our inflated parachute photo). A valve ensures that the parachute is not over-pressurized during ascent, and can also be emptied during packing.

Beautifully finished, with sewn edges rather than glued ones like most diving parachutes.
