Neoprene hood and gloves

The diver needs to protect himself from the cold. That's why neoprene hoods are essential to protect the head against the cold water. Their thickness varies between 5mm and 7mm for the warmest diving hoods.

The size of a neoprene diving hood is chosen according to the size of the head but also the size of the neck.

To protect your hands from the cold, neoprene gloves are essential. The thickness can vary from 3mm for the thinnest for summer dives for example, to the thickest diving gloves for cold water dives with a thickness of 7mm.

Neoprene mittens are also available for even more warmth.
